If this was able to collapse into something more compact I would have bought this before the video ended. I'd love this if it could fit in my trucks toolbox. Still a genius design. Especially the rear side of the magnet that holds nails that have been pushed back by grass

How does it discharge continuously?
The finned plastic drum takes the shot out of the magnet's field and throws it into the bin out front, this keeps the magnet clean all the time
Whats the cost for one of thses units, im getting sick of popping my tires on nails and bolts while traveling dirt roads and need something like this to do a job i shouldnt need to.

What is it used for?
The ATV association uses it to pick up railway spikes on their trails
Reverse gear beeper reminds me at shop doorbell.
I’m assuming it’s impossible to source road material without nails in it? Does the local tire guy own the local quarry? Pay a little more for virgin aggregate. Even if this stuff is free it’s not worth it. Good video and narration though.
Great idea. Can’t count the number of flat tires I’ve had from nails on gravel roads.
Thanks Rich, the problem comes from recycled concrete, we think that if townships use that kind of aggregate they should clear it before it goes into use!
